The everyday problem

A successful installation is not the same as an accepted operational system. Teams need to confirm that their workflows, roles, and reporting function as intended. A written checklist makes the transition from implementation to ordinary use less ambiguous.

A practical approach

Tie acceptance criteria to the original requirements and include evidence for each. Test normal work, exceptions, access, and exports. Assign a reviewer for every criterion and document unresolved items instead of treating go-live as proof that all requirements are complete.

Try this with your team

Select one workflow and write three acceptance checks: a normal case, an exception case, and a handoff to another role.
