PRACTICAL GUIDE

Choose an RCM platform around your workflow

Evaluate the gaps in your stack before adding another tool.

Inventory what already works

List the capabilities your team already uses and the pain points that remain. Distinguish missing functionality from an unclear process or an unused feature. A new platform should solve a defined problem rather than duplicate a system you already operate.

Evaluate the operator experience

Ask staff to walk through common tasks, search for an exception, and find the next action. Review role-based access, reporting, and how work moves between teams. Consider the effort needed to train new operators and support daily use.

Sequence the transition

Plan data migration, validation, training, and a fallback for the cutover period. Agree on milestones and acceptance criteria with the vendor. A staged rollout can make it easier to isolate problems and confirm that the new platform fits the workflow.
